This small spider was found on a rock covered with moss in a forest in Magoebaskloof. This photo was taken at closest focusing distance giving a 1:1 life size photo on my full frame camera. The lens was set to its biggest aperture of f/2.8 giving a very shallow depth of field at such a close focus distance.
This photo was taken in December 2014 with a Canon 5D MkIII and TAMRON SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD Macro.
Camera Settings: f/2.8, 1/320 seconds and ISO 1250
