Old Bridge Konjic

The Old Bridge on the River Neretva is considered the point where Herzegovina connects with Bosnia . It was built in 1682 . year and demolished third March 1945 , the day of liberation of Konjic . Mined by the German Nazis in retreat.

The bridge was built of stone and had six arches. He was among the most beautiful bridges from the Ottoman period in Bosnia and Herzegovina , together with Mostar's Old Bridge , Trebinje Arslanagić bridge and the bridge across the Drina, that is a bridge Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic in Visegrad .
