I took this photo on my first day wandering around alone in China. I made my way to an infrequently visited portion of Zhangjiajie National Park, and then started walking, until I was more-or-less on my own – not an easy thing to accomplish in China. The walk was absolutely worth it, since it allowed me to enjoy this view without the hustle and bustle that is typically unavoidable in the world's most populated country. This shot is exactly what I think of when I think about China's natural beauty.
