Toroczkai-Wigand Ede is a famous hungarian architect who worked on the Hungarian Parliament, then he moved to Targu Mures. There and in the surrounding villages he built architectures and in his works he used the Transylvanian folk art items. He was also a teacher in the Applied Arts School. During the siege of Budapest in 1945, he suffered fatal injuries.
