Sunflower Occupied by a Mason Bee

Took this one a while back in a garden. Can you spot the critter walking about the face of the sunflower? It's a little mason bee doing its work. These bees are very good pollinators of flowers, at level with honey bees in that respect. The difference between the mason bee and the honey bee is that honey bees are social insects, while mason bees are solitary insects.

Some people even keep mason bee houses nearby their gardens because they're just that good!
