A closer look at the Antares region in the night sky!
I'll never get over the high of processing these photos and bringing out detail unseen by our eyes.
Antares is a supergiant star that is 883x larger than our Sun. It's a measly 3,233,243,955,251,200 miles away ~ish. The photons that hit my camera sensor left the star 550 years ago (in 1492) and travelled at 186,000 miles per/second. The universe is immense, and equally as amazing
