Duman Duman is the source of the Bistrica River in the town of Livno. It is located at the foot of the karst hills Bašajkovac, under steep cliffs Crvenice. The name originates from the Turkish word duman indicating smoke or fog, and in the case of Livno Dumana etymology refers to the smoke from water droplets or water curtain, which is sometimes visible to the big water levels during the winter months. It's also possible that the name comes from the Proto-Slavic word meaning duman deep valley, or from Delmatae settlement located in this area. Geomorphological natural monument.
