Council of Dani people during the festival of the Baliem's valley. Dani are people from the central highlands of Papua, the Indonesian province of New Guinea. The Dani's valley were only sighted in the summer of 1938 from an airplane.
Today, on every August or September in the valley a festival is held.
The main point of interest is the massive tribal attraction involving different tribes living on the villages around Baliem Valley.
The festival is a right chance to observe the culture of a people living in Papua. A real paradise for photographers...
