Fly - The blowflies

The blowflies (Calliphoridae) are a family of Diptera Brachycerus that includes numerous species commonly called, among other names, and depending on the geographical area: blowflies or blowflies meat, blue or green flies (in English are generically known as "blowfly "" flies bottle "," carrion-flies "or fleece-fly strike for Australians).

Diptera are insects of this family of approximately 10 to 12 mm long on average and generally exhibit bright metallic colors, aspect to which they owe their common name.
