Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge , Bosporus , Istanbul Turkey

The Bosporus or Bosphorus is a strait that forms the boundary between the European part of Turkey and its Asian part (Anatolia) , it connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara , it is about 30 km long, with a max width of 3,700 metres at the northern entrance and a min width of 700 metres between Kandilli and Aşiyan and 750 metres between Anadoluhisarı and Rumelihisarı , the depth varies from 36 to 124 metres in midstream, the shores of the strait are heavily populated as Istanbul is nearby , it is very interesting travelling along the Bosphorus Strait becouse there are a lot of historical and geographical facts about the strait , how it forms a border between Europe and Asia , how it forms a connection between the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea and then the Mediterranean Sea , the very populated banks of the Bosphorus , fascinated the fishermen that fished off the Bosphorus Bridge
