Monk plants tree

Cambodia: 130 people gather together in this morning in Ponleak pagoda to match around Ponleak village with carrying tree in their hands, yelling to plant the tree to promote climate resilient.

Participation from students, community people, monks and EU in Cambodia repetitive to plant 200 multipurpose trees in Char Thmey High School, more than 1 km from the pagoda. This tree plantation campaign today is a part of the project Promoting Climate-Resilient Livelihoods for Small-Scale Farmer in Most Vulnerable Dry Land Areas, 5 years implemented and cooperated by the Centre for Study and Development in Agriculture (CEDAC) and Plan International Cambodia through the funding from the European Union, the project have built resilience among 325 villages in 6 districts and 33 schools in Tboung Khmum and Sieam Reap provinces, Cambodia.
