Hum is often referred to as the smallest town in the world. It has only 30 inhabitants and preserved the city's institutions. It is located in the central part of Istria, 14 kilometers southeast of Buzet. Inside the preserved city walls are two small streets, the parish church of the Assumption of Mary was built in 1802, Romanesque church. Jerome from the 12th century, decorated with frescoes under Byzantine influence, with many Glagolitic inscriptions and graffiti, Master Anthony of Padua.
