St Winefride's Well in Holywell, Wales

St Winefride's Well is the oldest continually visited pilgrimage site in Great Britain. In 660 AD Winifred's head was severed by a prince whose advances she refused, and a spring of water gushed out of the earth at this spot.

Lucky you! Wales, Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland - very interesting, beautiful places I haven't visited...but I will...someday......
