Snow Leopard

No, there aren't any wild snow leopards in Colorado. In fact, it is estimated that there are only somewhere in the range of 5,000 snow leopards in the wild across the globe. They live in the high mountains of central Asia, and are among the most difficult animals on earth to spot in the wild. I took this shot at the Denver Zoo, and like it because of the degree of camouflage the cat's fur provides.
